Their second encounter was much closer than their first, but once again, Frankie Edgar was too much for Cub Swanson at UFC Fight Night 128.

Edgar came out with a ton of movement and a busy jab, as per usual, while Swanson looked to counter the featherweight. Early on, Edgar appeared to stun Swanson with a big right, but the perennial contender recovered and returned fire.

Swanson landed some nice shots throughout the remainder of the fight, but ultimately, Edgar outscored the vet with punches, kicks and a few takedown attempts.

Edgar, who submitted Swanson in the fifth round of their 2014 fight, was coming off a KO loss to Brian Ortega last month.
