Cub Swanson was unable once again to defeat Frankie Edgar on Saturday night, and following UFC Fight Night 128, the featherweight contender posted a statement.

Edgar and Swanson threw down in the co-main event of last night’s card, and although the bout was far more competitive than their 2014 encounter, Edgar emerged with the decision win.

During their first bout, Edgar controlled much of the action with his wrestling, and went on to score a fifth round, submission victory.

Both Swanson and Edgar were coming off losses to Brian Ortega, prior to UFC FN 128.
