Fedor Emelianenko ended his winning drought on American soil tonight at Bellator 198, as “The Last Emperor” took out Frank Mir in a frantic, but short bout.

Mir clipped Emelianenko not long into the card’s headliner, but after engaging the clinch, Fedor swept the former UFC champ to the floor with a beautiful throw. The fight moved back to its feet, and as Mir moved in, Fedor dropped him with a left hook to the jaw. After the former PRIDE heavyweight champ landed a couple more punches, the bout was stopped.
