After failing to reclaim the UFC’s strawweight title, Joanna Jedrzejczyk will battle Tecia Torres next.

Recently the UFC announced that Jedrzejczyk and Torres will square off at its July 28th card in Calgary, Alberta.

Jedrzejczyk (14-2) is looking to get back on track, after suffering the first two losses of her MMA career, versus Rose Namajunas. The latter stopped Jedrzejczyk in December to end her reign as champ, and at UFC 223 last month, Ramajunas won the rematch via decision.

Torres (10-2) is also coming off a loss, as she lost via UD to Jessica Andrade in February. Prior to that Torres had won three in a row.

So, this is an interesting addition to UFC on FOX 30, featuring the #1 ranked Jedrzejczyk and the #5 positioned, Torres.

Recently it was announced that the upcoming card will also feature a bout between former 145 champ Jose Aldo, and surging contender, Jeremy Stephens.
