Lyoto Machida demonstrated that he remains a very, very dangerous fighter tonight at UFC 224, by knocking out Vitor Belfort with a vicious kick.

The first round didn’t feature a ton of action, but Machida fired off kicks somewhat frequently, while Belfort threw a few, heavy punches. Not long into round two, however, Machida crushed Belfort with a rear kick to the face, which KO’d the legend instantly.

After the loss, Belfort left his gloves in the cage, and, as expected, he relayed this is likely the end of his career.
