Many people were expecting tonight’s headliner at Bellator 199 to be a prolonged, competitive war, but Ryan Bader quickly dismissed that theory with his left hand.

Bader faced “King Mo” Lawal in the main event, which also served as the last, quarterfinal of Bellator’s heavyweight grand prix. Well, Bader charged out, decked Lawal with a left hand, and then finished the fight with a flurry of shots.

As a result of the victory, the light-heavyweight champ will take on fellow UFC veteran, Matt Mitrione, in the grand-prix semis.

Here are the results for Bellator 199, which was hosted by San Jose (results via MMA Junkie).
