Nate Diaz has said that he’s almost certainly not going to fight Georges St-Pierre, and now Nick Diaz has relayed anyone trying to make that bout, should be prepared for a “backhand slap”…

Recently talk about a fight between Nate Diaz and St-Pierre took off, after Dana White relayed that he wants to book the bout for the August 4th, UFC 227 card.  Since then, however, Nate has said the UFC’s selling “wolf tickets”, and that he’s not interested in fighting GSP, who, he has accused of using steroids.

If you’re a longtime fan, then you know that Nick has made similar accusations about St-Pierre in the past. In addition, Nick has repeatedly claimed that officials stacked the cards against him, when he fought GSP in 2013. That fight took place in St-Pierre’s home city of Montreal, and the Canadian star won the bout via decision.

Well, more recently, TMZ caught up with Nick, and the latter was asked for his take on the Nate Diaz – GSP talk (quote via MMA Mania):

“I think whoever tries to make that fight, I’m gonna have to give him a backhand slap,” Nick declared. “At the end of the day, I fought [St-Pierre], they poisoned my IV with some kind of weird ass drug. It put me to sleep!”

“I have 37 fights, been fighting for 17 years, I never slept more than five or six hours a night. I slept 14 hours, I’m like ‘What did you put in my IV, dude?’ I never had nothing but clear IV. And there was something wrong with his wraps. I know they didn’t test us either because they was filling up all our piss inside little film containers.”

Now, Nick also said that he doesn’t believe St-Pierre was behind the alleged, shenanigans regarding his IV. But, considering what he and Nate have said about this proposed fight, it certainly looks like it’s dead in the water (and we don’t even know if GSP, who it should be noted has never failed a drug test, was interested in this at all to begin with).

Nick hasn’t fought now since January, 2015, when he battled Anderson Silva at UFC 183.
