For a little while there, it looked like the chances of seeing rivals Paul Daley and Michael Page throw down, anytime soon, were slim to none. But, based off comments Bellator boss man Scott Coker recently made, it looks like that fight could happen.

Daley has been feuding with his fellow, British star for a sometime now. But, since Daley’s also relayed in recent weeks he’s unhappy with Bellator, and that he wants to leave the promotion, the consensus was Daley – Page wasn’t going to materialize.

Well, following Daley’s loss to Jon Fitch at Bellator 199, Coker reportedly reached out to the heavy handed fighter. More recently, Coker told MMA Junkie that he’s working on a new, multi-fight deal with Daley’s management team. In addition, while discussing Daley – Page, Coker said this about “Semtex”.

“He said he would fight him any time we wanted to. If they both want to do this fight, we will definitely do it.”

There you have it. Here’s hoping we get to see the rivals clash before 2018 is up. Not only isn’t a match-up that stylistically, promises fireworks, but you would think it would be a huge draw for a Bellator card in the United Kingdom.
