Tai Tuivasa’s rise up the heavyweight ranks continued tonight at UFC 225, but barely…

The heavy handed fighter took on former champ, Andrei Arlovski, and both men landed plenty of punishing shots during the bout. At one juncture, Arlovski was sent to the deck by a Tuivasa punch, but the renowned fighter quickly got back to his feet.

Tuivasa came forward throughout much of the bout, while Arlovski looked to counter. After 15 minutes, Tuivasa was a bloody mess, but the charismatic fighter emerged with a decision win via scores of 29-28. The fight could have likely gone either way.
