Colby Covington didn’t score a one sided win like he said he would, but the controversial fighter’s pressuring game proved to be too much for Rafael dos Anjos.

Covington flew out of the gate to begin the fight, and kept dos Anjos on his heels with his takedown attempts. That pattern, pretty much played out throughout the bout, except in the fourth round, when RDA landed a couple of takedowns of his own.

After the final horn sounded, Covington was handed the decision win and the interim welterweight title, before heĀ  proceeded to verbally trash welterweight champ, Tyron Woodley.
