It looks like Paul Daley’s run with Bellator isn’t going to be ending anytime soon after all, as “Semtex” is reporting he’s signed a new contract with the promotion.
Daley has been critical of Bellator in recent months, and at one point, the feared striker said he was done with the company. But, Bellator President Scott Coker recently said he was working on a new deal for Daley, and since then the British star posted this:
So former Glory kickboxing champion Joe Schilling has called me out to fight in Bellator MMA he’s gonna fight at 170lbs up to 205 he says, now he’s made the full time cross over from kickboxing, signing a new multi fight deal with Bellator MMA….. Well i just signed a new deal, I’m ready @bellatormma . WW tournament, Joe Schilling, I’m ready #dontneedastrap @joe_schilling #foams
If you’re a casual fan, you may be unaware that Schilling is widely regarded to be one of the best kickboxers in the United States. The renowned striker has gone 1-2 with Bellator under MMA rules thus far.
In Daley’s (40-16-2) last fight, at Bellator 199 in May, he lost via decision to Jon Fitch.
