It’s been less than two months since Vitor Belfort had his retirement bout with Lyoto Machida, but it looks like “The Phenom’s” already thinking about fighting again.
Belfort faced his fellow Brazilian star at the May 12th, UFC 224 card, and was knocked out in the second round. Leading up to the fight, Belfort had said it would be his last contest, and after the loss, the decorated fighter left his gloves in the cage.
Well, fast forward to now, and Belfort has recently posted the images, comments and videos below.
Since my last fight I’ve been asked, approached, texted etc… by everyone I know and specially my fans with the same question: Will you fight again? And the the next sentence is: Please don’t retire. So now I’m changing the roles. I’m approaching YOU! I’m in NY with my family and I will randomly talk to someone and ask his/her opinion if I should come back. I confess that I’m getting excited about it!!! Be ready, you could be next!!!
If you could choose one of those fights to happen again, which one would you like to see? #bfl #workout #fitness #diet #coconutcreek #parkland #bocaraton #coralsprings #southflorida #teambelfort #belfortfamily #bflfamily #ufc #mma @belfortfitnesslifestyle
In the past, Belfort said that if there was a “legends” division he would continue to fight, and some of those names certainly fit that description.
