Paul Felder battled through a couple of big cuts, and maybe a broken arm, but came up short at UFC 226 against Mike Perry.
Shortly into the fight, the fighters clashed heads, and both men emerged with cuts. In the proceeding minutes of round one, both Perry and Felder fired off elbows, punches and kicks.
In round two, Perry landed a takedown not long in, but Felder got back to his feet. Perry slowed down for a bit, but then he cracked Felder with a huge left that opened up a big cut by his right eye. During the round, commentators Joe Rogan and Dominick Cruz speculated Felder may have broken his right arm.
The action slowed somewhat in round three, but Perry continued to move forward and worked the clinch later in the frame. In the fights final moments, both men winged some heavy shots, before the final horn went.
Perry emerged with the split decision win.
