Following Demetrious Johnson’s stunning loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC 227, the now former champ relayed he sustained foot and knee injuries in the bout. Now the renowned fighter’s reporting that his foot injury isn’t as serious as feared, but it’s not clear yet, what the situation is with his knee.

Johnson reported he believes he popped his right LCL during his split decision loss to Cejudo, and that he damaged his foot while kicking. As you’ll see by checking out the post below, the good news is that it looks like his foot wasn’t broken, but they’re still waiting for the results on his knee.

Update and see you guys on @arielhelwani show on Monday ??? #Helwanishow

Hopefully we get to see Johnson back in the cage sooner than later, and in a rubber match with Cejudo. Johnson defended the 125 title a record 11 times before facing Cejudo again on August 4th.
