It’s been a while since Paul Malignaggi was making news in the MMA world, but, that’s changed, following a recent from Conor McGregor.
Recently it was pointed out that it was one year ago, on August 11th, that sparring footage of McGregor and Maligannagi was released by Dana White. The reason that was a big deal at the time, is that because McGregor, his supporters, and a lot of others, said it showed the former champ knocking the retired boxer down. Malignaggi and some other folks, however, disagreed.
Well, more recently responded to the tweet below, and that prompted several responses from Maliganggi.

Malignaggi was brought in to help McGregor prepare for his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather last August, which saw the undefeated, boxing star stop him in round ten.
McGregor is preparing to face lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6th at UFC 229.
