It’s not surprising that much of the UFC 229 spotlight has been locked on tonight’s headliner between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor. But does that mean Tony Ferguson vs. Anthony Pettis doesn’t have a chance to be truly something special? No. No it does not.

Yes, in a bout that could headline any Fight Night card, the former interim lightweight champ Ferguson, will take on the former world champ, Pettis. Not only is it a compelling bout due to each man’s accomplishments, but because of their finishing abilities, which are off the charts.
