Following the news that a bout between Jorge Masvidal and Nick Diaz is closed to being finalized, odds have been posted which have the latter as an underdog.

Last week it was reported that the UFC is close to adding Diaz – Masvidal to its March 2nd card. Well, BetOnline has posted odds for the proposed bout, and Diaz is a +135 dog. Masvidal, meanwhile, is the favorite with odds of -155.

Diaz (26-9, 2 no-contests) hasn’t fought now since 2015, when he took on Anderson Silva at UFC 183. The Stockton star initially lost the fight via decision, but it was overturned to a no-contest, after Silva tested positive for banned substances.

Masvidal (32-13), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since November, 2017, when he lost via decision to Stephen Thompson. The Florida fighter is 3-2 in his last 5 scraps.

Do you agree? Do you see Masvidal as the favorite?
