Jon Jones is once again the UFC’s light-heavyweight champ, as the renowned fighter was too much for Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232.

Gustafsson moved forward throughout much of round one and Jones looked to counter. The latter attempted several takedown attempts but was unable to take Gustafsson down, and Jones did tag the contender with a nice elbow at one point.

In round two, Jones countered Gustafsson’s forward movement with a couple of smacking kicks to the body. Gustafsson stepped up his attacks but had trouble reaching Jones with his punches, and the former champ continued to counter well. As the round wound down, Jones planted a couple of hard leg kicks on Gustafsson.

Shortly into round three, Jones took Gustafsson down with a beautifully timed takedown. As Gustafsson attempted to work up and out, Jones moved to his back and started hammering down punches. After “The Mauler” took several shots from above the fight was stopped.
