Jose AldoUFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will make his Octagon debut at UFC 129 as expected, the UFC announced on Thursday while confirming six additional matchups for the April 30 event in Toronto, which is headlined by welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre vs. Jake Shields.

With a win over George Roop at Saturday’s UFC Fight for the Troops 2, Mark Hominick will earn the shot at Aldo, the final WEC title-holder who has won 11-straight over the likes of former champs Urijah Faber and Mike Brown.
