When you’re a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and also hold a black belt in Karate, chances are you’re going to finish some fights, and that’s indeed been the case with Gunnar Nelson.

Since the Icelandic fighter arrived in the UFC back in 2012, the decorated grappler has competed in the Octagon 11 times, and Nelson has scored finishes in 7 of those bouts. Only one of his 8 wins was by decision. That’s not too shabby.
