Cub Swason’s UFC debut will have to wait again, as the former WEC featherweight has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 132 fight with Erik Koch after suffering a “broken face” training for the July 2 event in Las Vegas.

Swanson (15-4) topped Mackens Semerzier in the “Fight of the Night” at WEC 52 in November, but was unable to fight at March’s UFC on Versus 3 against Koch (12-1), who instead topped Raphael Assuncao for his third-straight win at UFC 128.

Koch is now awaiting a new opponent for the UFC 132 fight card, which is headlined by bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber and also includes Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris LebenCarlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim, and Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader.
