The UFC’s first trip to China now has its main event as Rich Franklin and Cung Le are set to headline the November card. The two were originally supposed to face off at UFC 148 before an injury to Vitor Belfort forced a change in the lineup. The former respective middleweight champions of Strikeforce and the UFC are sure to put on an entertaining scrap.

Despite being injured at his UFC 148 victory, UFC President Dana White was (somewhat ironically) adamant about Cung Le’s involvement in the UFC’s first foray into China. The Saigon-born (now Ho Chi Minh City) fighter took out Patrick Côté at UFC 148  in a hard fought, but clear, decision for the Sanshou fighter. Le is currently 1-1 in the UFC since coming over Strikeforce.

Rich Franklin is coming off a win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 147. Franklin will be looking to keep rather remarkable undefeated run over middleweights not named Anderson Silva when he faces Le.

UFC  on FUEL TV 6 takes place November 10 live from the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Macao Resort and Hotel in the special administrative region of Macau in China. The main card will be aired live via FUEL TV, with the preliminaries likely airing on Facebook.
