Hyun-Gyu Lim was removed from the UFC on FUEL TV 6 fight card due to medical reasons prior to Friday’s weigh-ins. Lim’s opponent, David Mitchell will reportedly receive his show pay for the event. Rumors broke about the change at the weigh-ins and were confirmed when Lim did not weigh in.

MMAJunkie reports that Lim was declared medically ineligible by doctors prior to weigh-ins. The site reports the issues were related to Lim’s weight cut.

The Macau card was supposed to mark the South Korean fighter’s UFC debut after five straight wins. His opponent, Mitchell, took the fight on short notice after an 0-2 start to his UFC career following an 11-0 start to his career.
