Forrest GriffinDana White seems to be long passed the point of frustration with the UFC’s injury woes; yet another fight has bitten the dust as former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin is out of a UFC 155 bout on December 29 against Phil Davis. The UFC president announced the injury via twitter, saying, “Forrest Has MCL tear and ACL strain. 20 cc’s of blood removed from his knee and the saga continues at the UFC!”

Griffin (19-7) is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Tito Ortiz in the wrestler’s retirement bout, his sole fight this year. Griffin went 1-1 in 2011, taking a unanimous decision over Rich Franklin and losing via first-round knockout to “Shogun” Rua.

White has yet to announce who will step in to meet Davis, or if “Mr. Wonderful” will even remain on the bill.
