The UFC has signed a three-year TV deal with BT Sport that will keep the UFC on television in the U.K. and Ireland. The deal, which goes into effect August 1, was announced earlier today.

The UFC is expected to be a part of the network’s upcoming lineup of premium channels, though fees have not been announced at this time.

The deal will provide a bevy of UFC programming to the area, including regional coverage, insider programs, highlight shows, and more to be announced soon.

ESPN UK’s problematic deal with the UFC will expire August 1 after a nearly four-year run on the paid subscription service. It was that service that proved the main issue for ESPN, and led them to sell to BT Sports.

BT Sports coverage of the UFC is set to debut shortly before August 3’s UFC 163.
